The inoculation benefits for commercial soya production were first noticed more than a century ago when imported soya seed grown in the USA was ‘inoculated’ by rubbing the seed with soil from China – the home of soybeans.

This crude inoculation process was soon refined and the first inoculant companies began producing products that supplied these beneficial bacteria.

Today, the manufacturing process at Legume Technology is very different from these first crude inoculants, using ‘aseptic’ manufacturing techniques to give super high numbers of ‘elite’ strains in a sophisticated formulation that not only delivers these Nitrogen supplying bacteria but can also supply other bio-stimulants, growth promoting bacteria and essential micronutrients to push soybean yield and protein content to their limit.
